Well, Collin sort of think that the decorations ruin the modern feel that the tree has when it stands alone. And I completely agree, but I've been yearning for some way to decorate the pool house for the holidays and the tree now provides the perfect canvas for my lack of creativity. So, here is his awesome modern tree and my not as awesome homey decorations, combined they equal us. Modern and simple, and homey and complicated! I LOVE IT!!!

That is way cute! I love it. You two are so creative.
I like the tree idea. And I think you should have it hold Christmas cards as they come. I always struggle with how to display those and not just stick them in a drawer. I wish you had a video of the wood loading project.
