High Time

I've been hinted toward that it is way past high time for a new post, so here it is. I have been a busy little beaver these last few weeks. School started. I am taking a guitar class, voice class, concert attendance, theory, therapy, culture, and a methods or movement class. I had initially signed up for a couple other classes, but with my new calling, working and trying to find time to actually see Collin, I brought my schedule down to a reasonable amount of classes. So, school is good, busy and hard, but good. Collin's doing so well. He's got school under control and has a cool situation where his partner for projects this semester is also a kid he works with, so they have plenty of time to brainstorm and create, and I so look forward to what they come up with! Collin's doing awesomely well at work, they love him, and so do I! :) Coll is now in the YM presidency and loves the boys he works with. It's so fun to see him having so much fun with the young men! My new calling is an absolute trip! I am far too young for it, and way too inexperienced but I trust the people who asked me to do it, and so I'm going full fledge! As the Enrichment Leader, the first week I got called I was asked to put together a retreat for the RS sisters and it was like 3 weeks away. Well the retreat was last weekend and it was SO much fun! I'm so glad I got to be a part of it, and I really think it went well. I love the sisters in my ward. Okay, I'm listening to America's Got Talent while I'm typing this and the Elvis guy has GOT TO GO. Ewww. Poor guy. I'm sure he's really nice, but forget the bucket, he couldn't carry a tune in a 50 gallon barrel. Anyway..I'm working. I am teaching voice, piano and dance and love it! It's so fun to do what you love! So I will post a few recent pictures and just add that life is a blessing and I'm grateful to be living it!

Adam and Collin's 1st project. Yes, it's a giant old-school TV, painted and looking design-a-licious!
The rest of the pictures are from retreat. We played, ate, slept and had a ball!

Congrats on your new calling. funny we just had our RS Retreat too, where was yours? we went up by Forest Lakes. A small world , we started having retreats when I was RS Pres to help a our combined ward get to know each other, I got the idea from Louise Jones, I remebered we had one when I was a young married and served as her RS Sec. kind of funny the connection to people we know and love.
It is fun to read you blog and catch up. Chels is doing great she just has no time for her bloging right now, they are feeling the baby move alot and she has a little pooch, she is so cute, we are so excited!! We'd love to see you, could you come for dinner some Sunday?
tell your sweet family hi, love them all.

ASH! Thanks for the comment :) We do in fact live very near you, me thinks. We are on Gilbert and Baseline and I think I remember you telling me you live on Gilbert and something. AND do you have a scooter? Because I swear I saw Collin zipping around on it one time on Gilbert Rd. If not, maybe an evil twin. Anyhow! We are open in the evenings a lot so we should get together for sure! Just let me know when you are NOT in class and at Relief Society and all that fun stuff you do!

You busy girl. You should pull my dance photo and put it up here, since it's actually your leg in there.
