For Jaycie

This post is for those of you who have requested more information about my audition process. Jaycie especially.

Facts:
-Each contestant is allowed one guest to accompany them to the audition
-My guest is Markee
-Contestants and guests have to register 2 days in advance
-At registration you get a sweet purple or green wristband
-I have only registered, not auditioned
-Auditions are tomorrow
-I'm incredibly nervous and very excited
-Tomorrow I have to make it through several sets of judges
-If I make it through those judges it is then and only then that I see Randy, Simon and Paula
-If I make it to the 3 stooges, that won't be until November
-I've tried to keep this a secret for 2 reasons;
1. If I stink if up, nobody has to ever know I even went
2. If I do okay or even well, the surprise factor will be cool

Myths:
The lines are long
-so far we have experienced 0 lines
Auditioning for AI is not embarrassing
-I'm quite embarrassed, I'm afraid of people laughing at me :)
People on the AI staff wear blue to match their logo
-The entire staff was wearing bright orange shirts
News cameras are all over the place capturing people in line
-There are no lines, so the news crews/radio stations all looked very bored, yet they were there
Auditioners need to sleep over the night before, and should expect to be there for days
-Sleeping over is not allowed, and the woman who registered us said not to expect all day

My apologies to those of you who have felt out of the loop on my auditioning process. Like I say, I was merely trying to avoid embarrassment! Although, now that you know...PRAY FOR ME!! I'm a nervous wreck. I can't think straight. I don't know what to wear. How to do my hair. Normal makeup. Stage make up. Take my pitch pipe? Leave my pitch pipe? If you have any suggestions PLEASE leave them with me!! Thanks for all of your encouraging words thus far!! Love you all.

I don't know why you are nervous! You are going to do great! It is not even a question in my mind! Just remember the worst thing they can tell you is "no" and then you just go home and keep living your fun life! We love you!
