Yes Day, Good Finds, and other Nonsense

Weekends strengthen our relationship. No I'm serious, they do. We get to stare into each other's eyes, cuddle for exceptionally long amounts of time, learn quirks about one another, and generally go to the temple together. Weekends are how life is supposed to be. At least I think so. C seems to think that having a job and bringing home the bacon is important too.

So anyway, this weekend we celebrated a couple things. First off we found the most incredible yard sales of the century, and after spending just a few dollars (I think it was $5) we came home with 3 rockin' treasures. Cause for celebration indeed.

I don't know if you can tell what that is, so I'll just tell you. That's a KILLER chandelier with a price tag that read $1. Yep.

And this, well this is an adorable vintage serving tray, with a price tag of $1 as well. Boo ya.
And you see that cute lantern that rests so sweetly atop my piano? Yeah, $3. I actually should have only paid $2 but I'm learning folks, I'm learning.

Secondly we celebrated our 'Yes Day'. That's the day C asked me to marry him and I said 'Yes'. This is our 4th 'Yes Day' which means we've been in love for 3 years. Crazy. To celebrate 'Yes Day' I wrote C a love song. Gross, huh? This year, C suggested that since it's 'Yes Day' all day he is entitled to ask me anything in the world and I have to say yes. That's mostly how it went. I love him. We also went to a late (10:10p.m.) movie on Friday night. We got all dressed up and had a great time. The movie (Letters to Juliet) was horrid in our opinion, but we still had a great time. And who doesn't get all dressed up to see a movie and take a photobooth photo shoot first?

P.S. I also made a skirt this weekend. But that's another story altogether. I can already feel your anticipation. Coming soon.

You forgot to mention that you found me a rockin' nice piano for 35 bucks at your garage sales! I am so happy that you had a good weekend and that I got to benefit from it. I am wondering how in the world you got Collin to go to a late movie. Did you have to drive? :)

Yes day has just been initiated into our family. I suggest zach should practice it everyday... too bad the day he asked me to marry him was his birthday.... So I already go over and beyond. So unfair.
