Well...last weekend was such an adventure that it's taken me this long to recuperate enough to blog about it! From being rejected by the American Idol producers, to Collin being my Knight In Shining Armor and taking me home to Eagar to fix it all, getting sick while I was there, and then coming home to a slight remodel which equals a messy house...it's been fab. I joke about Collin having to save the day after not making it at AI because I was so overly fine with it that it was the joke of the weekend. Anyway...I am SO up for giving details about the audition process and what not, but I don't want to post about it for the sake of those who don't care..so if you have interest, e-mail me and I'll send you the skinny!
So...now for the fun stuff! We got done at AI so early that I got home in time to have lunch, a nap, and we then made it to Eagar in time to be at the entire reunion! So the reunion was the usual. Dinner, talent show, dance on Friday, some fun stuff on Saturday, then the same routine Saturday night, followed by a missionary-less church meeting on Sunday. With no RM's to report, we got to hear from a few cousins, Uncle Bill, Grandpa Sherwood and mine truly...Bob aka my daddy. It was all so great. Then we got to go home for another nap, and a farewell chill with Matt's family who is (against my will) moving to Idaho. We will miss them SO much and totally support them in their decision to move, but don't like it one bit! We got some sweet pictures of the kiddos and then headed home!
While in Eagar, I thought I was dealing with allergies, I totally had all the symptoms, but I've never had them before so it seemed weird. But I just ignored it and continued playing horseshoes in the rain, and staying up late looking at photos of my parents' dating years, and that plus mine and Markee's late night/early morning adventures to AI meant no sleep, cold rain, and a cold, not allergies. So....by the time we got home on Sunday night, I was MISERABLE!! I'm getting better...and I normally wouldn't mention my illness, but I have a sweet picture to go along with it, so I have to! Below, you will find, my 3 days worth of kleenex, my unmade bed because I'm in it more than usual, my 3rd box of kleenex, and my trusty Fierce Grape Gatorade.
Side note:
Collin got a new calling- 2nd counselor in the Young Men's Presidency. We are so excited! And feel so blessed to get to spend more time with the youth, but something funny; I also have to blow my nose in the car wouldn't ya know..and I've accumulated quite a stash of kleenex in there as well, and tonight Coll had to take the boys to mutual, and I am SO embarrassed that they will have to see my kleenex. You all get to see them, but there are miles and miles between you and my kleenex, these boys might actually TOUCH some of mine!! Ewww! Poor boys! They might fire Collin.
My apologies for the length of this post, but Collin's at mutual, I'm bored, I've slept all day and suddenly have loads of energy, I've cleaned my kitchen, and this was next!! Bless you all for enduring!

You mom and I think alike. I was a little curious as to why a trash can wouldn't have been a little easeier also. Hope you're feeling better. And thanks for pics! They're awesome!
