The things I learn...

So I knew what he was when I picked him up...Collin that is. And I knew he was a keeper! He was kind, not only to me but to his parents, (a huge perk) his siblings, my parents, (an equally large perk) my siblings, he honored his Priesthood, he did his home-teaching, he opened my doors, fabulous dresser, liked country music, and made toys for a living! This was more than enough for me, and I didn't think there could be more, and then I got sick. I mean really sick. The kind of sick where you can't hear out of one ear due to an ear infection (thanks FIL for the diagnosis, medicine, and patience), you can't move a muscle because every ounce of epidermis is burned to a crisp, you can't eat a thing because it'll just come up which means you can't take medicine because it too will just come up, you can't swallow because it hurts your throat too badly, you can't sleep because occasionally you either roll over on the sunburn, or you swallow and it hurts, and believe it or not, the list goes on! So how does this make Collin more of a stud muffin than I knew? Well, when it got to the point where I was crying so hard because everything hurt, crying so hard because I wanted my mom,(thanks Mamma for letting me call you and for producing fabulous advice) and also crying so hard that it made me throw up, he had my hair in one hand so it wouldn't get in the way, and a kleenex in the other drying my tears. He was up at 11:00pm getting me 7up and popsiclewhen he should have been in bed, he made 2 Sonic trips because a 99 cent shake is all that sounded good, did all the laundry (thanks Mamma Smith for your help), got us caught up on dishes, and he never complained one time. So...this post is to all of my friends who aren't married yet because boys are scum. Don't give up....Mr. Right (or in my case Mr. Wright) does exist!!!!!! Don't stop til you find him and don't settle for less! You can't have my Mr. Right, but go get yours! You'll never look back! Thanks sweet boy, I love you!
