This weekend it became very apparent to me, how sweet Larry is. Not that I didn't know it before, but sometimes this weekend I just caught tiny glimpses of the giant heart he has. For instance, I think since he is a boy, he thinks he has to be tough! So it's not very likely that he would just go up to somebody and hug them, instead he'd probably call them a cookoo head, but in reality it means the same thing! Well, he got REALLY sick during a sleep-over at Grandma's and threw up in his sleep, Uncle Bryan had to accidently stumble upon the barf, and so we then had to wake Larry up to clean everything up before the carpet got ruined, etc. SO ANYWAY...Larry was sad when he woke up. He obviously didn't feel good, and he wanted his mom. So it was an opportunity to snuggle with him and since he was tired and not feeling well, he snuggled back and it just was sweet to see how sweet he was! So...to continue on with examples of his sweetness, Coll and I were leaving to come back home and I was hugging everyone and saying goodbye, and it got to be Larry's turn. I knew he was a little sad to see everyone leaving but didn't know how to express it, so he says,
"Aunt Ashlee, do you like rocks?"
I said, "Yes"
and he ran off as quick as lightning! He beat us outside by a few minutes, and when we finally got outside he walked up to me, handed me a rock said, "Here ya go Aunt Ashlee" and then ran off kind of shyly! It was SOOOO cute! And I knew that was his way of saying he loved me! He's great!

I know this picture is a little blurry and you might wonder why I used it, so let me explain really quickly. The kids were all finding joy in jumping off of Grandma's table, so I decided to take a picture of them all jumping off at the same time, but in different directions. Well, it's blurry because they jumped, and it's funny because everyone else jumped, and Larry just stood there, like in this picture. And then he said, "I didn't know which way to jump"..it was priceless!
