So today was one of my good days! Not that I have ever have bad days, but by good day I mean I actually had a schedule, a plan, ya know not just flyin by the seat of my pants as usual. So I woke up and got started on my agenda, things like cleaning out the closet and other stuff in preparation to go home to Eagar this weekend. I finished my list and the next thing was to have lunch with Mrs. Teilborg (a good family friend). Part of my inspiration to schedule out my whole day was so I would not be late for lunch. I get dressed and all ready to go, put everything I need by the front door, go to grab my car key....it's not there. So I figure I just put it somewhere other than my normal spot, a half an hour later no key to be found. So by this time I'm panicking big time. There were probably a million things I could have done. Borrowed my inlaws' car, called Collin and had him come get me, moved the couch cushions, etc. But what did I end up doing? Calling my mom. As if she was going to be able to say, "Oh hey look by the fridge I saw it there this morning". She lives 200 miles away and I call her for a solution to my problem. It's now 18 hours later, I still have no car key, but my mommy calmed me down, called Mrs. Teilborg for me to tell her I'd be late and talked me into borrowing a car so I could still make it for lunch. It just goes to show that even when you've been out of the house for 2 years, are married and live far away, mommies can still make everything better!
